Our story
over 50 years experience
Medi- First Medical Center and Desert View Medical Center is a fast-growing busy multicultural practice serving a multitude of patients here in the valley. With nearly 50 years of combined medical experience held among our incredible team of primary care Providers, it is the teams mission to provide the best and most comprehensive care, promote optimal health outcomes, provide the highest level of care and value based medicine to our patients.
Our providers and team are fully vested in the overall well being of our patients that we have recently decided to expand our schedule to serve patients seven (7) days a week, and this allows us to often times see patients the same day or on a walk-in basis. While our week to weekend hours may vary, we will not close until the last patient scheduled that day has received services and care. So please call or stop by the clinic and receive the medical care you deserve. We look forward to meeting you!

Wow!!!! What an amazing staff!!! I visit this practice frequently and always leave feeling grateful that there are still providers that care about people. I have always had great experiences with the staff, and have always been greeted with kindness, compassion, and open ears. As people we are ever changing and it's nice to have such a knowledgeable staff looking after me. Way to go team, keep up the good work and thanks for always taking such good care of me. This place is amazing..
I see the doctors in doctors in suite D118, and have to say that it is elegantly decorated. Has superior staff and bedside manor with the highest quality of high tech services available. Love that they offer new procedures, and always greet with a welcoming smile. I do not see how any other provider could surpass this sensitive experience. The front desk always has someone there to greet you with care and compassion. Thank you Medi-first and Desert View Medical Center for making a difficult office visit a very positive experience.
My wife needed a new Physician. Someone who actually is available at the office when needed. For the past year, it seems like every time we made an appointment at her old practice, we had to wait over a week to schedule with first available "Nurse Practitioner" or “PA”. And two weeks or more for her actual PCP. So we began looking for someone that would be able to see her, and that would take the time to talk to her. Luckily we came across Medi-first and scheduled an appointment with one of the providers. To our surprise we met Dr Xuan Vu at our very first appointment. She was wonderful, full of knowledge and very caring. She made us feel like actual patients and not a number. I highly recommend her and her staff. They are a very efficient team and very professional. If you're looking for someone that really cares, look no more, Dr Vu and her team are amazing.
I just started seeing Dr. Merritt; he spent a good amount of time with me, taking blood and learning about my lifestyle. He's definitely comprehensive, and knows what he's talking about. I am just starting treatment for some chronic issues, so I will definitely update my review once I gauge the results of the program. But so far, very happy with the service and attention. Not to mention, this is the first doctor that actually saw me at my scheduled time. No waiting. That was nice. Wonderful place with an excellent staff, highly recommend..
